A digital system for textbooks
With the redesign of the Hölder-Pichler-Tempsky website, we were able to support the digitization of processes at HPT for the second time. After an extensive initial workshop and a user analysis of the existing data, the digital experience was built around the website's search function, which is a central feature for finding the right literature for teachers and students.
Central search function
The user perspective is a key focus for us in the UX design process. Through various workshop types and user tests, we develop a strategy to optimize the digital experience for users and make the workflow as efficient as possible for website operators. At HPT, the performance data showed us that the search function was highly valued by users.
So we designed an easy-to-use search with faceted filters that leads users to the desired result in just a few clicks.
A system that grows with you
Hölder-Pichler-Tempsky's textbook platform is modular and can be scaled to meet the company's needs and the times. When designing the platform, we prioritized design (user guidance) and centralizing work processes for the company. The product range, which includes hundreds of textbook types and learning materials, is transformed into an efficient management process through smart categorization and centralized administration.
In addition to functional improvements, the publishing platform's typeface was also adapted. Our design team emphasized timeless and clear typography.
